Our Founder
Mike Busch is a CPA with extensive experience in investment banking, restructuring, and accounting. He’s held roles at top firms like KPMG, Grant Thornton, Kluane Partners, and the Bowra Group (now MNP Insolvency) where he led transactions across a wide range of industries and asset classes.
Over the years, Mike has helped companies navigate key financial decisions including raising capital, buying or selling businesses, valuation, and corporate restructurings.
Through this work, he saw a recurring disconnect between what capital providers were offering and what businesses and investors actually needed. That insight led to the creation of KitsWest Capital, a firm built to close that gap by aligning capital provider expectations with client goals. KitsWest brings together tailored deliverables, a competitive solicitation process, and the experience needed to get deals done.
